LOS ANGELES—AVN Contributing Editor for Pleasure Products Kim Airs will be attending the annual meeting of the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health (ISSWSH.org), being held in Long Beach, California, over Valentine’s Day weekend.
The conference covers a wide range of issues and conditions related to women’s sexual health, with an emphasis on the physical attributes of these issues such as cancer, menopause, urinary incontinence and many others.
“I am a charter member of ISSWSH, beginning with its founding in 1999, when I was asked by prominent doctors to add my skillset and deep knowledge of sexual health and wellness products,” Airs said. “There are various products in our industry that can effectively treat many conditions which are practically identical to the much more expensive products health practitioners are familiar with. My aim is to make these professionals aware of these products which ultimately help their patients of any gender or age.”
The stated mission of ISSWSH is ‘to Lead, Innovate and Promote our Interdisciplinary Field by Bridging Science, Patient Care and Community,’ which Airs said she has embraced through her decades of work in the industry.
“I am so excited to connect with my colleagues and learn much more about advances in the field of women’s sexual health. It’s going to be a great weekend of non-stop learning on so many levels. Bring it on,” she added.
