LOS ANGELES— Aneros’ Product and Business Development Manager Forrest Andrews recently appeared on the acclaimed Sex with Emily podcast featuring renowned relationship expert and doctor of human sexuality Emily Morse.
“There was a time when prostate massage was the gold standard for treating things like prostatitis and the symptoms of BPH [benign prostatic hyperplasia or enlarged prostate]. There weren’t antibiotics that dealt with that kind of thing … and it was that way even into the ’50s,” Andrews told Morse during the interview. “But with the development of new antibiotics, prostate massage fell by the wayside for a time … fast forward to the ’80s and ’90s with the emergence of holistic medicine and alternative medicine when people were looking for body safe methods to deal with this.”
Andrews brings his first-hand experience to the show describing his use of the powerful Aneros prostate massager 16 years ago to relieve symptoms of a lifelong prostate condition and how it led to him joining the company in order to help others facing similar health complications. It was in that environment that the Aneros was born. Andrews went on to explain how a Japanese urologist who had been successfully using prostate massage in his practice conceived of having his patients administer the procedure in the privacy of their homes for greater benefit. He then sought out Aneros’ founder who created and patented the first self-powered, hands-free prostate massager which ultimately gave rise to the Aneros company and its unique line of products. The products were later included in a study by Columbia University, click here.
“It was a pleasure to host Forrest on our podcast,” Morse said. “He brought great knowledge about prostate health, and more importantly a strong voice for removing the stigmas surrounding prostate massage and sexual health as components towards total health.”
Now one of the longest running sex and relationship podcasts, Sex with Emily is downloaded nearly one million times each month and continues to sit at the top of most major charts. The show is available on multiple platforms including iTunes, iHeartRadio, Spotify, Soundcloud, and as of 2018, Sirius XM.
As a leading advocate of prostate health and wellness, Aneros is known for its bestselling line of prostate massagers—offering natural, preventative measures for erectile dysfunctions (ED) and relief from prostate complications and more. According to a number of medical studies, prostate massage also eases fluid blockages that often cause pain during ejaculation, as well as reduces prostate swelling that affects urination and urine flow.
