DOVER, Del.—TrustyFans' founder and chief executive officer (CEO) Jack Anderson expressed his concern for the recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling that found an extremely controversial pornography age verification law in Texas as constitutional.
"To every adult creator processing last week’s news: I see you," said Anderson. "I know how heavy it feels to build something of your own, only to wake up wondering if the Internet will still make space for you tomorrow. The Supreme Court’s recent ruling on age verification laws has created a wave of confusion, fear, and frustration—and rightfully so. We all agree that minors should be protected. But this is a parenting and education issue, not a problem that platforms alone can solve.
"Families need better tools and open conversations, not just new laws. What’s clear now is that more states will feel empowered to crack down harder on adult content and the freedom to express it," he added.
