LOS ANGELES—Talent Testing Service (TTS) released its July 2026 update, showing a slight increase in sexually transmitted disease positivity rates compared with June.
Overall, the three Chlamydia Urine rates continue to trend downward from their November 2022 peak. In July 2026, however, all three increased from June's 0.9 percent level, with the total rate rising to 1.9 percent, the male rate to 2.4 percent, and the female rate to 1.3 percent. With historical levels at around 2.0 percent, the current rates remain within expectations.
The Gonorrhea Urine Positivity Index were 0.1 percent in the prior month. In July 2026, all three increased, with the female rate rising to 0.8 percent, the male rate to 0.5 percent, and the total rate to 0.6 percent. The three rates remain within a range between 0.0 and 1.0 percent.
Other results for June include:
• Trichomonas Vaginalis Urine Positivity Index showed that all three rates also increased in July 2026: the total rate to 0.5 percent from 0.2 percent, the female rate to 0.6 percent from 0.3 percent and the male rate rose to 0.4 percent from 0.1 percent.
• Mycoplasma Genitalium Urine Positivity Index showed all the three rates ticking down in July 2026, with the female rate to 3.2 percent from 3.3 percent, the total rate down to 2.8 percent from 3.0 percent.
• Chlamydia & GC (Gonorrhea) Throat and Rectal Swabs: Positivity Index showed increases across all three Chlamydia Rectal rates in July 2026, with the total rate rising to 1.4 percent from 0.8 percent.
