LONDON—Princess Jezebel recently marched alongside an organizer-estimated 150,000 people at London Trans+ Pride 2026, joining a protest for trans rights under the theme “Our Future, Our Fight.”
Trans+ Pride prohibits corporate sponsorship or representation, a distinction Jezebel says protects the event from the pinkwashing she sees at the main London Pride parade.
“Trans Pride is joyous, but it is a protest, not a party - we are fighting for our rights,” shared Jezebel. “There was a definite atmosphere of activism, but also the euphoria of being surrounded by tens of thousands of trans people who understood why we were there."
"It showed exactly why so many of us favour this grassroots movement over the main London Pride parade," added Jezebel.
Chants of “Trans rights are human rights” and “Stand up, fight back” carried through the march.
