“This movie is so special to me because it was the first feature we shot in New Hampshire after locating to the east coast,” said Nica Noelle. “It was summer in New England and we had a dream cast of some of the biggest stars in male cinema: Brent Corrigan, Nick Capra and Ty Roderick, to name a few. I think Fathers & Sons is one of the best movies I've ever made, and was a great way to kick off our New England-based productions.”
The plot, according to Icon Male, features long time friends Douglas (Nick Capra) and Scott (Rob Yaeger) who have watched each other's sons Daniel and Noah (Brent Corrigan and Alex Greene) grow up into strapping young men. But when the fathers and sons get together to celebrate Daniel's 18th birthday, Douglas is faced with a sudden attraction to young, athletic Noah. Meanwhile, daddy Scott is seduced by vulnerable, sex-starved Daniel.
Nica Noelle shared more on the making of Fathers & Sons saying, “Mile High Media trail blazed the current trend in romance films, particularly those involving quasi-incestuous themes, and we're now bringing those stories to our gay audience with Icon Male. Fathers & Sons captures that. I really wanted to avoid making this movie campy and silly, and to give the characters real conflict. Nuanced emotional performances were important here, because the storyline was so over the top. Luckily I had an incredibly talented cast to work with, and professional actors like Brent Corrigan, Alex Greene and Rob Yaeger who really grounded the movie.”
