PALM SPRINGS, Calif.—Ducati Studios' cinematic gay Western series Drifters will premiere its season finale, “Drive, Cowboy,” on September 2, concluding its 14-episode run. The finale features Derek Kage as Dude and Ryan Orion as Handsome, whose relationship has been central to the series.
After a season defined by chance encounters, missed opportunities, longing, and the restless pull of the open road, “Drive, Cowboy” finally brings the two men face-to-face.
The finale, according to the studio announcement, brings the story full circle, returning Handsome to the road where his journey began while revisiting some of the people, places and emotional choices that shaped him along the way. As both Dude and Handsome confront what their relationship might mean beyond a temporary encounter, the episode delivers the payoff to a romance that has developed gradually across the season.
