In 2001, Marie Madison started her adult career the way most girls do. She answered a "Models Wanted" ad on Yahoo. The company was Body Shop Films out of Pittsburgh, and it was a gonzo style "Interview/Sex Scene" called "Lil' Marie Madison."

Hooked on the rush of this first experience, Marie immediately laid the foundation for her own production company, Marie Madison Media. Armed with a video camera and a small lighting kit, Marie began exploring her fantasies and private sexual exploits on camera, and offered her experiments directly to anyone who was interested enough to look.

Far removed from the San Fernando Valley, without the confinements of a studio system or pressures from the adult industry, Marie's movies forged a niche all their own, and built a grass roots following of fans who took notice of her quirky sense of humor and fierce sexual appetite.

In 2003, Marie entered the feature arena with Smoke Junkies, Indiscretions and the controversial fetish series The Agency. While the mainstream adult industry was taking little notice of Marie's work, The Agency was getting huge support from European cable audiences, and Marie Madison was quietly becoming an international brand name.

In 2005, Marie starred in the indie horror film Fury, which opened in 2006 alongside Jessie Jane's Pirates in a pair of sold out shows at the Great Lakes Film Festival, where Jessie and Marie appeared together to promote the screenings.

In 2007, while continuing to run her adult website which had expanding to offer video on demand, downloads and a member's area, Marie starred in the mainstream comedy Virgin Pockets. The film became a festival hit, garnering a Best Feature nomination at The Great Lakes Film Festival and a Best Comedy win at the 2007 Indie Gathering. The movie garnered a slew of rave reviews from outlets including Billards Digest and Inside English magazine, which called Virgin Pockets "the best pool movie in 20 years" and introduced Marie Madison to an entirely new audience of fans.

Intent on keeping the most direct line possible between her and her fans, in 2009 Marie Madison launched Maddy G Productions, LLC. to enable better distribution of Marie's movies on DVD, Blu-ray, cable and mobile platforms. The new company will allow direct business-to-business sales with all video stores and distributors, as well as continue to offer Marie's extensive catalog of over 60 titles directly to her fans.

In addition, Marie has begun production on Inside Marie's Play Place, a semi-scripted adult comedy series for DVD, the web and cable that will begin offering daily episodes to the web June 1st, along with series compilations available on DVD and Blu-ray.

The show is shot in 1080 HD on 5,000 square feet of standing sets located inside the historical Union Station in Erie, PA. Featuring Marie Madison, among a principal recurring cast of four, along with a bevy of Marie's super slutty friends and a host of celebrity guest stars, Inside Marie's Play Place is the "something different" that adult audiences have been craving.

In the midst of all of it, Marie still continues to pursue her mainstream acting career, with plans to promote her latest horror film House of Bedlam on the 2009 fall film festival circuit that will include an appearance at the 2009 Indie Gathering in Cleveland, OH.
