It’s an unusual career trajectory—from hard science to hardcore—but Lisey Sweet is far from usual. “I have always been interested in the adult industry,” she says. “I went to college and was a research scientist for seven years in microbiology until I started porn.

“I did it as a hobby at first but I loved it so much I went full time, leaving my science career behind. I still dabble in science from time to time.”
