XPays Awarded Affiliate-Pooling Technology Patent

XPays, Inc. has received a patent from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. U.S. patent number 6,804,660 covers XPays' affiliate pooling technology, which enables Virtual Affiliate advertising on the Internet. XPays has assigned the patent to sister company Essociate.

"The originality of our affiliate pooling technology is confirmed by the issuance of our first patent, and the continued growth of our business validates the strength of the model," said XPays and Essociate co-founder/chief executive Evan Horowitz, announcing the patent.

XPays and Essociate co-founder/chief technology officer Michael Landau said getting the patent was very gratifying “considering our tremendous respect for intellectual property rights.”

XPays currently partners with more than 12,000 affiliates, bringing together a variety of online merchants, services, and affiliates using their patented Affiliate Pooling model. “By providing an evolving set of tools for affiliates and merchants to combine their resources via the XPays model,” the company said, “merchants have increased their brand awareness and affiliates have profited from a stable and competitive revenue source.”

Horowitz said he would speak publicly on patent details and any licensing plans within the next few weeks.

XPays affiliate webmasters in any calendar month can earn $27 per signup for 1-29 non-free signups; $28 per signup for 30-49; $29 per signup for 50-69; and $30 per signup for 70 or more. They also earn 50 percent of all XPackets phone sex sales and 20 percent on all XSextoy Store sales. Xpays-affiliated Web sites include HotelHeiress, TrustFundGirls, PamandTommy, RealCrazyGirls, AdultFlics, and more.
