Woman Mails Exploding Condoms to Strip Clubs

A former strip club waitress was arrested and accused of mailing condoms with an explosive mixture to strip clubs and a motorcycle club and other locations, police told the Boston Globe last week.

According to FBI documents unsealed in U.S. District Court in Boston, 40-year-old Kimberly Lynn Dasilva said she mailed the explosives-laden condoms because she was tired of being mistreated by men.

On Sept. 21, police were called when a suspicious-looking package arrived at Bridgewater State College’s admissions’ office. Police later found other such packages had arrived at two strip clubs and at the headquarters of a motorcycle club.

The condoms contained gasoline and a drain cleaning detergent which, police said, could have exploded had they not been handled properly.

Dasilva posted $10,000 bail last week and is scheduled to go before a judge at a Feb. 23 court hearing.
