This March, Wildlife Productions’ hardcore imprint Powerhouse will unleash three new series, including the directorial debut of AVN’s Best Male Newcomer Ben English, and a new look for the entire line.
“Powerhouse is our harder line. More anal, more multiples, with sex that is a lot harder than what we do for Wildlife titles,” Bobby Rinaldi, production manager for Wildlife Productions, told AVN.com. “Our Wildlife titles are still selling strong, but our customers indicated that they’d like to see some harder titles as well.
“We didn’t want to dilute the Wildlife brand by putting those out under that name – Wildlife is more of a couples type brand, we don’t do extremely hardcore videos, that’s not why people select our titles off the shelves,” he said.
Over fifteen titles have already been released under the Powerhouse brand since it launched last year with series such as High Teen Club, Anal Destruction Of…, Whores Inc., and Orgy Angels.
In March Ben English’s directorial debut, Intensitivity #1 will be released, as will Cream Pie Honey’s by Arty Nolan. “Intensitivity is hardcore with elegance. It’s fancier than your usual gonzo, kind of a hardcore Blake,” Rinaldi said.
Powerhouse will also begin distributing a new series by Brett Rockman called Double Indulgence that will feature two girls with one guy in each scene.
The overall look of the Powerhouse box covers has been redesigned and starting in March, 99 percent of the box covers will be foil – a popular element in hardcore box covers.
“Now distributors can consider us a one-stop that can take care of their needs for both extremely hardcore titles and our traditional couples friendly type of videos,” Rinaldi said.
