Thanks to the help of the adult industry Wildlife Productions sales director Tony Plaia is back on his feet after having his apartment burned to the ground during the holiday season.
“I received a lot of help from people within the industry and surprisingly, from people I didn’t even know all across the country,” Plaia said. “I’d like to thank everyone who helped me out of a tough spot. That was a pretty big hit to take at once.”
When Plaia’s apartment burned down last December he lost virtually everything he had. Friends and co-workers organized a drive to help set Plaia back on his feet.
“Most people gave monetary donations and that was greatly appreciated,” Plaia said. “I also received a lot of gift certificates for restaurants which was nice since I was staying in a hotel at first, but everything helped. I sincerely appreciate the generosity shown to me.”
“The mainstream industries have programs to help people out, but we’ve got nothing,” Plaia noted. “But when it comes down to it, we always help each other out in a pinch.”
