Affiliate program WildCash is singing the praises of alternative processor Password-By-Phone, saying the company has added appreciably to the bottom line of the 27 consumer-facing websites operated by WildCash. Among the sites is BrutalBlowjobs.com.
“Thanks to PasswordByPhone, we are able to squeeze every last cent from our traffic,” says Matthew Clapham, WildCash’s owner. “This includes sales from markets where credit card penetration is either negligible or virtually non-existent. Given the global, open architecture of the Internet, it simply made sense for us to think outside of the credit card box—something that a surprising amount of U.S. webmasters simply do not do and are losing out on an additional revenue-stream as a result.”
PasswordByPhone utilizes the same underlying billing mechanism as a dialer, but with none of the headaches associated with that mechanism. The surfer makes a phone call to a premium number from his landline or cell in order to receive the password needed to gain access to the members’ area for a limited amount of time. Unlike similar solutions out there, the surfer does not need a second phone line.
“We also took advantage of PasswordByPhone’s geo-targeted front-end service, allowing us to launch international versions of our sites with calls to action in 35 languages,” says Clapham. “They host these and send us paying customers only.”
