Wild Web Sites Unveils New Control Panel System

The Adult hosting division of Prime Internet has launched a full lifecycle platform management system.

Wild Web Sites’ Sphera Control Panel System is designed to manage the entire customer lifecycle from signup through termination. The platform is made up of five separate integrated systems – a data center manager, a billing director for online payments and history, a hosting director for hosting and dedicated server accounts, a reseller director for reseller management, and an online support system with FAQs and site owner feedback scoring.

Prime Internet is currently in the process of migrating customers to the new system, which is built on high-end Dell servers, Cisco routers and boasts an all-fiber Gigabit infrastructure.

Company executives expect the new system to make streamline the process of making changes.

“Account changes and updates that used to require requests to our technical support department via a support ticket, phone call or email are now available to the site owner in a complete dashboard and control panel set, anytime, 24/7 “ said Prime Internet’s director of network operations, Mike Gaerttner.

Executives feel the most significant addition to the program is value applications – scripts, programs and modules that used to require manual installation by a web site owner or support technician. They include such things as Real Media Server, Frontpage Extensions, Password Protection, Anti-Hacking, Website Stats, SQL Databases, Miva Merchant 4 and Tomcat Java Server.

“This is new level of service that our competition just simply doesn’t have. Now you can install a database server for your Web site at 3 a.m.,” said Prime Internet’s CEO Ray Vanpraag.

“This is literally click ‘n’ go technology at the site owners fingertips.”

The company also announced it is reducing the price for hosting plans. They now start at $9.99 a month.
