MONTREAL—Wicked Pictures today debuts Sweet Juggs of Justice, a "wildly irreverent” new comedy feature directed by Seth Gamble.
“Packed with colorful characters, outrageous misunderstandings and a healthy dose of backwoods absurdity,” the movie's first episode is available now exclusively on Wicked.com.
“Set in a delightfully offbeat world where family feuds, questionable law enforcement and larger-than-life personalities collide, Sweet Juggs of Justice follows Sweet Charity and her eccentric crew as they set out to avenge her heartbroken mother after a messy romantic betrayal. What begins as a quest for justice quickly spirals into a whirlwind of mistaken accusations, fake deaths, runaway schemes and unexpected revelations, culminating in a frenetic showdown that proves things are never quite what they seem,” a company description reads.
With an ensemble cast including Vanna Bardot, Angel Youngs, Octavia Red, Small Hands and Lucas Frost, among other players, the movie embraces a tongue-in-cheek tone inspired by classic slapstick comedies.
“Sweet Juggs of Justice was one of the most genuinely fun projects I have ever had the privilege of directing,” Gamble said. “The cast and crew brought it to life in ways that exceeded every expectation I had. I’m incredibly proud of this project, and I think audiences are going to have a fantastic time watching it.”
The cast echoed Gamble’s enthusiasm for the production.
“Working with Seth as a director and all my scene partners was such a pleasure,” said Youngs. “The energy on set was always positive and easy, and I can’t wait for fans to see the final result.”
“Sweet Juggs of Justice is an over-the-top movie that hits your funny bone in all the right places,” added Red. “The camaraderie we all had behind the scenes really shines through on screen.”
Small Hands, who plays the bumbling Biker Bob, praised Gamble’s growth as a director. “Working with Seth was nonstop laughter and good times. He has a unique combination of creativity and performer experience that makes everyone feel comfortable while having fun.”
“Being on Seth’s set was a fantastic experience,” said Frost. “The cast, crew and atmosphere were incredible from start to finish. I’d do it again in a heartbeat.”
Sweet Juggs of Justice begins rolling out today exclusively on Wicked.com.
