Wicked Signs Spears

Wicked Pictures has signed veteran actor Randy Spears to an exclusive contract.

The union of Wicked and Spears is a natural one, as the versatile actor has received the AVN Award for Best Supporting Actor - Video consecutively for the last three years thanks to his work in Wicked's Fluff & Fold, Space Nuts and Hercules, respectively. He also won the trade publication's Best Actor - Video award in 2000 for his comedic turn in Jonathan Morgan's Double Feature.

This celebrated performer is currently up for several Wicked-related 2006 AVN nominations, including Best Actor - Film for Brad Armstrong's Eternity and Best Supporting Actor - Video for Armstrong's One Man's Obsession.

Spears' exclusive deal with Wicked, which began Jan. 1, entails him performing exclusively in the company's productions, with an option for directing for the company as well.

"It just makes sense to be joining the family," Spears said. "The people there are my friends. We work like a family, We're like minded, We believe in the same things, and I respect the quality and standard they are trying to uphold."

Wicked president Steve Orenstein couldn't be happier.

"Randy has been our go-to guy for years. There's no part he can't play, and he's a strong sexual performer. It just seems right that he's with us exclusively," Orenstein said.
