Wicked Pictures has announced that it has signed an exclusive distribution deal with New Zealand’s leading distributor of adult product, Vixen Direct.
“The deal between Wicked and Vixen promises to be great for both companies,” said Steven Vlottes, VP of international sales and licensing for Wicked Pictures. “For the first time, ever in the history of Wicked, we will have one company that will be responsible for both Australia and New Zealand territories.”
“Vixen will be providing Wickedwith 100 percent effort to make the Wickedname as popular there, as it is here in the USA,” Vlottes continued,“I am very happy with Steve Crow and his persistence to structure a deal, whereby we can only go up and forward, with a company like Vixen steering the way.”
New Zealand based Vixen Direct began in 1993 as an exclusive distributor of adult CD-ROM games. The last several years has seen Vixen grow into a larger corporation, launching the Erotica Lifestyles Expo, New Zealand based hard-core magazine NZX and Uncensored magazine. In 2005, Vixen successfully securing rights to distribute high quality product in both the New Zealand and Australia territories.
Vixen Direct’s CEO Steve Crow is enthused about the deal with Wicked Pictures. “With Wicked, we have not only obtained very high quality product that has traditionally been under-marketed in this region and has therefore not enjoyed the market presence it should have; we have formed an alliance with a company that is known for high-end marketing which fits exactly with how we do business.” Crow added, “I am very grateful to Steve and the guys at Wickedfor putting their faith in us to represent their business in this region.”
The Wicked/Vixen distribution deal will go into effect on June 1, with Vixen exclusively distributing Wicked Pictures new releases, starting with the companies June roster of titles, in the Australia and New Zealand markets.
"I'm happy to make this agreement with a distributor who understands our line and who has very specific marketing and advertising plans for it in the territory,” said Wicked owner, Steve Orenstein.
“I look forward to a long and mutually beneficial arrangement with Steve Crow and Vixen."
