Wendy Nitz has started a company called Safe Keeping that offers expert and professional 2257 record keeping services.
Nitz kept the records for VCA Pictures for over 10 years until leaving the company in February. She also handled the record keeping for other companies during that time. Nitz told AVN.com that she saw a need for a company like this in adult.
“There is a definite void,” she said. “I hate to sound like I’m bragging, but everyone in the industry knows I’m the best at record keeping. Everybody always took our {VCA} titles, because they knew our records were immaculate.”
Nitz, who has been in adult since 1985, said that over the years she has taught Vivid Entertainment Group and Wicked Pictures how to keep its identifications.
Her current list of clients includes Extreme Associates, Devil’s Films, Inpulse Pictures, Triple X Cash, Netwave, Fatt Entertainment and Antigua Pictures.
“I’m open to other clients and I also do consulting if they want help of if they want to train,” Nitz said.
Nitz also spoke with LA Direct Models owner Derek Hay and Spiegler Girls’ Mark Spiegler at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo about having them send their girls to her for the proper ID requirements.
“I’ll notarize them and do a performer affidavit, and keep their talent records current,” she said. “So for instance, when Wicked is out shooting somewhere and there is a no-show, we’ll keep them up and running.”
Nitz noted that she already has 700 performers in her database.
“When someone needs an ID, they can call me,” she said. “I want to kind of be like the hub, the hub of all talent.”
