Webmaster Access Europe – Two Days To Debauchery

GFY’s Webmaster Access shows will make their European debut Thursday when Webmaster Access Europe gets underway with high hopes in tow.

Although his early expectations were tempered, the move from three events to four this year and the foray across the pond is one GFY marketing director Eric Matis hopes will be continued.

“We have a great mix of sponsors that have gotten involved from Canada, the U.S., Europe, and all over," Mattis said. "That kind of blew me away, so I’m going into this with the expectation in mind that it will be a success, above and beyond my initial expectations. If it meets even part of our expectations, this will become a yearly event, no problem.”

The show will be similar in format to the other Webmaster Access events, which to date have included events in Santa Monica, Calif., Cancun, and Montreal. Kicking off the festivities will be a warm-up party thrown by DieselCash, followed by seminars on Friday and Saturday.

The seminar lineup hasn’t changed, save for a mobile seminar to open Friday’s show. Other seminars will focus on legal issues, traffic, content, processing, and the state of the industry.

There are, of course, the parties, highlighted by Python sponsoring nightly trips to various red-light district venues.

“It’s going to be a good time – definitely a party. I mean, we’re in Amsterdam," Mattis said. "You can’t knock that at all. The companies over there have given us a really warm reception for the whole gig.”

Attendance is expected to be between 225 and 275 webmasters. Pre-registration has closed, but registration is available on-site.
