What has become the quintessential intimate networking event in the adult industry, Webmaster Access Getaway, has found a new home.
After years of catching rays and nighttime debauchery in Cancun, the Webmaster Access Getaway this year moved to the snow-capped mountains and scenic beauty of Lake Tahoe, where it will return next year.
"After three successful years on the beach, the first show in Tahoe exceeded expectations," said show organizer and ICS Vice President of Marketing Eric Matis. "With daily activities and great parties, South Lake Tahoe is a destination that will stay on the Webmaster Access lineup."
Approximately 125 attendees came from around the country—and even outside of it—representing companies like Naughty America, Vivid, Playboy, GammaCash, Sunny Dollars, WEGCash, and Eurotivity.
They enjoyed the days, which were spent in the outdoors, skiing, snowboarding, and snowmobiling. The weather was cooperative, dropping nearly 12 inches of fresh snow on the mountain each night.
Meanwhile, the evenings were filled with, what else, socializing, clubbing, partying, and gambling.
The early evening hot spot was the Cabo Cantina, in between host hotel Harvey's and neighboring Harrah's, and the blackjack tables upstairs, where hundreds of dollars were made and lost (mostly lost).
Concluding the evenings, unless you followed DrinkingHard or 2Bet's Bobby Taylor to the tables, was the revelry that took place in the VIP areas of two of the state line's hottest clubs, Vex and Blu.
So, how will one top all of this next year?
The dates already have been secured—Feb. 8-10, 2008—and by the sound of it, those who make their way to this winter wonderland can expect an even better time next year.
"To follow up a successful show like this, we're planning even crazier parties and more activities," Matis said. "Once again, what happens in Tahoe will stay in Tahoe."
