Video Secrets parent company VS Media, home of the wildly popular live chat site Flirt4Free, just celebrated its 10th year in business. Instead of resting on its laurels, however, the company plans to celebrate its hard work with even more hard work.
VS Media President Gregory Clayman gave an exclusive interview to AVNOnline.com, in which he talked about the company’s upcoming plans for expansion in 2007, which include the re-launch of the Video Secrets affiliate program and the release of Flirt4Free 5.0.
“With Flirt4Free 5.0, we are taking things to a whole new level in regards to video chat and the technology involved as well as affiliate tools and marketing ammunition,” Clayman told AVNOnline.com. “We are not only maintaining the highest quality and number-one live video service, but also we will be providing our affiliates with the most recent and state-of-the-art ways to market it.”
Clayman went on to say the company will continue to do all of its upgrades in-house using proprietary software.
“We have always focused on being a technology company, and one of the things that’s important to us—and we feel that separates us from other companies in our industry—is that we do everything in our power not to license out other people’s software in an attempt to avoid restrictions that are placed on licensees,” Clayman said. “Given that, our new program will maintain the fastest live video in the industry, coupled with our tremendous array of beautiful female and male performers.
“By using open-source and proprietary technology, it allows us to accommodate and customize for the most discerning webmaster.”
With a new year come many opportunities for growth, and Clayman said VS Media plans to take advantage of all of those opportunities.
“2007 [will be] absolutely a breakout year for Video Secrets,” he predicted. “We are expanding in every avenue that we see feasible.” To that end, he added, the company is “looking for the best people out there to join our team.”
Positions immediately available include a software engineer, a lead PHP programmer, and a system administrator.
As far as celebrating 10 years, Clayman said, “[I]t’s even hard for me to believe at times as we’ve been through so much over the years, but the way we look at it is that we’re just getting started. These past 10 years have been a tremendous learning curve and merely a springboard for the next 10 years.”
Although the company’s anniversary officially took place on Nov. 7, VS Media will celebrate this weekend at the PlayboyMansion, where several Playboy Playmates will offer tours of the historical estate on Dec. 16.
