“Initial experiments started with six custom GoPro rigs, later upgraded to 16, as the team pushed boundaries daily. The very first content was shot in 2015, but those early attempts, while full of passion, didn’t meet the high standards the studio set for itself and remained unreleased,” the representative described.
“Undeterred, VR Bangers made history by becoming the first studio to deliver true 4K resolution in full 360-degree immersion—a milestone that instantly set the brand apart. As technology evolved, so did VR Bangers. Over the years, the studio developed increasingly advanced custom video rigs, raising the bar from 6K to today’s stunning 8K Ultra HD standard—with brief explorations into 12K that proved ahead of their time. These leaps in quality have been matched by richer storytelling, luxurious locations, and collaborations with the industry’s most sought-after performers, all crafted with genuine care and respect for the talent,” they said.
Today, VR Bangers is “recognized for the highest production values, captivating scripts, breathtaking visuals, and an unwavering commitment to performer comfort and creativity. This excellence has earned the studio over 30 prestigious industry awards over the past decade.”
The company went on to acknowledge its filmmakers, adding, “None of this would have been possible without the extraordinary contributions of visionary directors and producers who shaped the brand.
