An alleged voyeur who trashed his collection of videos of women unwittingly being taped undressing and showering was busted when the tapes found their way out of the dumpster and into the hands of the police.
The Hartford Courant reports that James J. Borg of Farmington, Conn., had thrown away his porn collection, including magazines, photographs, and the voyeuristic tapes that he had allegedly made by placing cameras in three bathrooms. Borg was ditching his porn collection because his girlfriend had just moved in with him.
In an attempt at discretion, Borg had dumped the porn in nearby Avon, where it was found and turned over to the police. A viewing of the tapes led officers to believe that the videos were shot in Farmington, and so the tapes were turned over to the Farmington police.
Borg’s blue pickup was constantly seen in the tapes, leading police to charge him with 12 counts of voyeurism. Borg is currently out on a $10,000 bond.
Borg, still trying to keep his girlfriend in the dark, asked the police to meet him at a nearby restaurant. The police agreed, but no doubt his girlfriend found out once the Hartford Courant published their account.
