Industry veteran Steve Volponi has become the new director of sales for Devil’s Film.
Volponi has over 15 years of experience in adult and most recently headed the sales force at Wildlife Productions. He is also the president of Reel Interactive, which has just released its debut title in 3-D.
“This is sheer luck. This is the mother lode, the premier gig to have,” Volponi told AVN.com. “I was in the right place at the right time. Thank God. It’s a no-brainer. [Mike] Rubinstein has an amazing line, and for me to get a crack at it, I had to jump.”
Volponi replaces the departed Bonnie Kail.
“It’s going to be hard to fill Bonnie's shoes," he continued. "The line has always been on a level of its own. I’ve known Mike through the years, and it was exciting when I got the call.
He added, “I’m really happy. Hopefully, Mike continues to be happy and comfortable enough to let me man the reins.”
