LOS ANGELES—Vixen Media Group (VMG) announced today that its exclusive contract star Maitland Ward has signed a two-year contract extension under which she will headline several high-profile projects across the company’s specialty brands.
Ward—who holds the longest-running female performer contract in VMG’s history—is already prepping a slew of marquee projects, including the highly-anticipated second season of 2021’s AVN Grand Reel winner from Deeper, Muse, slated for production this spring with director Kayden Kross.
“Maitland's presence in this industry is shifting the way the mainstream perceives performers and the quality of the content we make,” Kross said. “It has been a game-changer to be able to work with her, and I can't wait to keep raising the bar that Maitland's work resets with each new project. No one is more devoted to her craft, more talented, or more willing to take risks than Maitland. It is an honor to be able to take this journey with her."
The seasoned actress is also expanding her production talents into both writing and directing capacities with the company, and has plans in store to surprise fans with some "firsts" not yet seen on screen. She is set to develop unique "non-XXX" VMG projects as well, such as a Behind-the-Scenes series that will invite viewers into her personal day-to-day life.
In the short time since she made her striking debut in 2019's Drive, then followed up with a compelling performance in Muse, Ward has racked up five AVN Awards (including back-to-back victories for her acting performances in the aforementioned titles), one XCritic win and a NightMoves trophy, among other accolades.
