Vivid Signs Jameson to New Deal

Vivid Entertainment Group has signed a new seven-year exclusive contract with Jenna Jameson. The agreement also gives the company the right to distribute all films made by Club Jenna, the fast growing production studio that she owns.

The new contract will extend the relationship of the two adult industry powerhouses through 2014. Jameson’s current seven-year deal ends in 2007. Jameson will retain her status as a “Vivid Girl,” the group of leading adult stars who work exclusively with Vivid.

Under the new agreement Vivid and Club Jenna will jointly produce selective movies, and Vivid will distribute movies produced by Club Jenna.

“We are thrilled to be continuing our long-standing affiliation with Club Jenna and with Jenna, whose career has soared as she has become an incredibly popular symbol of success in our industry,” Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch said. “Under the direction of Jenna and her husband, producer-director Jay Grdina (whose screen name is Justin Sterling), Club Jenna has become one of the top production houses in the business, with its own group of superstars and award-winning productions. We are particularly excited to be working with the Club Jenna Girls – Krystal Steal, Ashton Moore, Jesse Capelli, McKenzie Lee and Sophia Rossi. Our partnership has worked beautifully. For example, The Masseuse, a joint Club Jenna/Vivid production starring Jenna and Jay, won Best Film at the AVN Awards this year and the Club Jenna production Bella Loves Jenna, which Vivid distributed, was chosen as Best Video Feature,” Hirsch added.

“I couldn’t be happier,” Jameson said. “We feel we are at the top of our game right now and it is terrific to know that we will be continuing to work closely with the adult company that has been at the top of its game for more than two decades. Vivid sets the pace for leveraging its internationally recognized brand and we are proud to be a part of that success.”
