Vivid Entertainment Group hosted a star-studded AVN Awards Show after-party at the new Vivid nightclub inside the Venetian Hotel on Saturday night.
Vivid, formerly Venus, was the backdrop for a Grand Opening bash that mixed porn stars, rock stars, Hollywood stars, pro athletes and adult industry VIPs after the 22nd annual awards ceremony at the Venetian Grand Ballroom. A brand new, permanent neon Vivid sign adorned the entrance to the club that was one of the toughest doors in the city when the show ended. Some partygoers received special poker chips that had Vivid on one side and ClubJenna on the other. The chip granted access to the front of the line, but even that did not guarantee a swift entry as the attitude at the door was ridiculous.
Platinum rap artist Lil' Jon surprised the crowd as the guest DJ for the opening that attracted all 11 Vivid Girls, including the night's big winner, Jenna Jameson and her award-winning husband Justin Sterling.
"Obviously it was a great night for Vivid and for ClubJenna and a great night to open the club," Vivid co-chairman Steven Hirsch said. "We were very excited about all the awards we won and as excited about all the people that showed up at the opening of the club."
The rooms were filled with a veritable who's who of adult entertainment. Vivid exclusives Tera Patrick, Briana Banks, Janine, Mercedez, Tawny Roberts, Monique Alexander and Lexie Marie were among the beautiful women in the crowd.
Vivid Girl Savanna Samson, who co-hosted the AVN Awards with Thea Vidale, was spotted near the entrance in the 2 a.m. hour with fellow Vivid contract star Malezia, and performers Erik Everhard and Rick Patrick.
Some of the other adult personalities that made appearances included Alexis Malone, Monica Mayhem, Mr. Marcus, Vivid's Howard Levine and Shylar Cobi, Christian Mann, T.J. DiReda, Vic Thomas, Rick Shameless and Jay Allan. The dark, multi-room venue also hosted members of the Boo-Yah Tribe.
Meanwhile, multiple AVN Award-winner Barrett Blade, Kirsten Price, August and Tyler Durden were also seen making their way to the popular destination as the line did not relent even two hours after the show. Also seen mingling were Gene Simmons, DJ Premier and DMC from Run-DMC fame. More sexy porn stars and award-winners were en route as the party moved into the wee hours.
