Vivid’s success in 2005 was reflected when Adult DVD Empire announced the nominees for their Empire Awards, earlier today.
Vivid captured 8 total nominations, including 5 for The New Devil In Miss Jones, their popular title starring Jenna Jameson and Vivid Girl Savanna Samson. The New Devil In Miss Jones was nominated for five awards, including the Viewer’s Choice Award, which is voted on by anyone who visits Adult DVD Empire or the Empire Awards site.
Vivid was also nominated for their work as a studio, getting nods in both the Best Overall Studio and Best Compilation Studio categories, as well as a nod for their release of the original Where The Boys Aren’t in the Best Classic DVD category.
In addition to Vivid’s 8 nominations, the Club Jenna release of Jenna Loves Pain (distributed exclusively by Vivid) was nominated for an Empire Award in the category of Best Fetish DVD.
