Vivid Girl Cosmetics to Debut This Summer

Vivid Entertainment Group has signed a licensing agreement with The WII Group to produce and market a complete line of Vivid Girl make-up and skincare products.

Tonia Ryan, CEO of The WII Group and X-Girl Cosmetics, has worked with top chemists to create proprietary formulas for a range of "luxury lipsticks," "super glosses," blushers, eye products, air brush foundation kits and a variety of other items.

Ryan said the collection would debut this summer. She is working with leading graphic artists to design the packaging for the new line and said that it will feature the Vivid logo and images of the Vivid Girls on the products, in the product catalogues, on retail displays, on posters and on the Vivid Girl Cosmetics and X-Girl Cosmetics Websites.

“I started with X-Girl myself and I was trying to find a company to brand it with, and I had the idea of working with an adult company and the first company I thought of was Vivid because they are so well known and mainstream,” Ryan told AVN.com. “This is the first adult company to have a cosmetics line as far as I know.”

Ryan said that while X-Girl might seem to denote something adult in nature that she actually came up with her company name to target “Generation X-ers, young surfer girls.”

She said that her strategic planning includes placing Vivid Girl Cosmetics into fashion boutiques and spas and possibly even department stores. The collection will also be sold online. Interested retailers should contact Ryan at [email protected] and visit www.X-GirlCosmetics.com to receive opening sale discounts.

Ryan is a former executive with Lancome who has more than 15 years experience in the beauty industry. She operated seven of her own salons in Las Vegas. Three years ago she joined The WII Group, which specializes in product development for the beauty and skincare industry.
