Vivid announced late this afternoon that it has signed Sky

Vivid announced late this afternoon that it has signed Sky, former Shane contract girl, to an exclusive contract. The company is prepping a gonzo series for her called "The Sky's the Limit".

Fozzi writes: "Thursday night, June 24, 1999, CBS is rerunning my (GEORGE KAPLAN/FOZZI) "Diagnosis Murder" episode. This originally aired in January of 1998 the first night of CES and only handful of industry folks saw my sterling 47 second performance as a "porno director". Well, here's another chance to see this spectacular and dignified performance. I'm the guy in the wheelchair! If you blink, you'll miss me! Does this mean I can up my rate for future non-sex performances? Best Always."

Candy Apples might be inclined to take on 3,000 people for her gangbang for Heatwave Entertainment, but Heatwave is avoiding the pitfalls of predicting numbers at this stage of the game, even though director Jim Powers, supposedly, can put the finger on 700 Bukkake guys at a moment's notice, according to Gabor at Heatwave. The Apples gangbang is tentatively scheduled for the end of October.

Gabor: "We're going to have a notary public there [to do official tallying]. She's going to try and do as many as she can. We're advertising on the Internet and local papers. We're trying to get someone from the Howard Stern Show on the set. Candy's going to have her boobs done by next month, and she'll do not just guys but girls with strap-ons. It'll probably be much more interesting if women do her, too. This is a condom-only shoot."

Gabor says he's looking to have Gen X-type sponsors and will arrange to have the participants bussed from one location to another to avoid hassles with the fire marshals.

Ron Jeremy just sold a mainstream script in which Ron Howard's film company, Imagine Entertainment, brokered the deal. Well, actually, it wasn't a script. It was an idea.

Jeremy: "I did a storyline about a year and half ago, a twisted love story, about a killer and a social worker. It's based on my experiences as a teacher, working with disturbed kids; and my experiences now in porn. It's about a guy who had very bad DNA from bad parents and the things he goes through. He makes the ultimate sacrifice to help the woman he falls for, and she makes sacrifices for him. It's a series of subplots and subplots.

"People say to me, Ron, there's no porno in the script. I said I know. There isn't supposed to be. I shopped it to Tri Star first. Tri Star sent me to New Line and Miramax. I had Miramax right on the edge of making the deal, but they didn't take it. The reason I kept going and didn't give up is because each person loved it. Even if they couldn't buy it, they still liked it a lot.

"Dan at Ron Howard's company, Imagine, loved the pitch. I had to go to an independent company, Ocean Park Films in Santa Monica. that he's dealt with before. They liked it a lot. We made a deal and they bought it. They gave me $2,500 up front and that was for a verbal pitch coming out of my head. Once a full script is written, I get an additional $20,000.

"I could write it myself, but I don't have the patience. I've always been big on synopses, even when I direct movies in this business. So basically it's a verbal pitch. It comes out of my head. I'll do the verbal pitch on a tape recorder for another writer and he'll take over. The one they have now is the guy who wrote Psycho - the original screenwriter. He's the one most likely to write it.

"Once it's made into a movie I could wind up getting $100,000. It's really exciting beccause I'm not a writer for a living. This is a fun, one-shot deal, kind of like the way the rap song was. I did a record, it sold. I don't know if I want to do anymore."

G. Ross: "All that counts is cashing the check. The way you spend money, that'll last you the rest of your life."

Jeremy: "Mark Carriere made a joke. I picked up the tab for dinner recently. Mark almost fell off the chair. "What, did you break into your Swedish Erotica Loop #3 piggy bank - when the girls wore kerchiefs and you were skinny?"

A recent article in a cultmag called Velocity [April issue] features what Jeremy considers the best piece ever written about him, particular these two graphs: "If Jeremy's porno career wasn't disturbing enough, the now 45 year-old actor is also attempting to find work outside the adult fim industry. And, horror of horrors, he's succeeding. He's had small roles in such films as Orgazmo, Killing Zoe, Meet Wally Sparks and the upcoming Kiss movie, Detroit Rock City. He's done stand-up comedy in niteclubs across the country and is a regular guest/performer on Late Night With Conan O'Brien. He's made cameo appearances in music videos, most recently, Sublime's Date Rape and even recorded his own rap song, Freak of the Work which was a surprise hit on the Billboard charts for a few weeks.

"But it would be foolish to dismiss Jeremy as just another pop culture curiosity. He's already achieved more mainstream credibility than anybody could have predicted. His circle of friends and allies in Hollywood grow larger and stronger everyday. He might very well surprise us all and become a legitimate star someday. And then there'll be no stopping him. Even if his career ends tomorrow, he'll have left a permanent imprint on our cultural consciousness, infecting the society like a virus. Like it or not, Jeremy is here to stay."

Jeremy: "I have a nice little cameo in the Kiss film. It's a nice little part. They actually got my face on the poster - a cartoon. There's also going to be a Mad Magazine takeoff, Detroit's Shlock City. They already started the cartoon work on it. I sent photographs to Mad. I'm going to have my face in there. The only bad news is that I'm not in the trailer [for the film]. It opens Friday, August 13. For a Kiss film that's pretty bizarre. Hopefully you'll see the poster all over the country with my dumb little caricature."

Jeremy's also got another cameo [he plays an Italian gangster] in a film called Boondock Saints which stars Willem Dafoe.

Jeremy: Jeanna Fine also had a cameo in it. They flew us to Canada for it. That film will be released in the fall. It was going to be released in the summer, but some of the guys who do the killings wear trenchcoats. [In light of the Columbine High School tragedy.] It was made a year ago. It's such a great, great film. It's really like Pulp Fiction. I'm so happy to be in this movie."

The smell you smelled this morning was director Roy Karch's fax lines burning up. Karch submitted a number of news stories in an effort to prove his point that Dr. Susan Block and her husband, Max, at least according to Karch, may have reneged on a business deal prompting Karch to go press release happy last Friday afternoon. Karch used words like "unscrupulous" in claiming the Blocks still owe him money from a couple of sales deals. The Blocks say, no, that Karch wanted out of his position as a salesman, and that's that. Karch is saying that he was more than a salesman.

To make a long story short, Karch's press submissions bear stories [presumably originating from the Block camp] referring to him as "co-producer" of BlockFilms. Karch also submits model releases and deal memos referring to Block-Karch Productions.

Karch: "I was just looking to distance my self from these people, not looking to cause trouble. But, after reading their rebuttal [posted 6/18], I said let me send some things out to show what was really going on. When we started out, we entered in this project together. As they saw it growing and the possibility of dollars coming in, my name would appear less and less. My account base got smaller and smaller to where they were just doing it themselves. If that was the case I wanted everyone to know that I'm no longer a part of this. I believe there's some money owed to me from the Passion Pictures business they were doing [Passion claims no]. Other than that, I'm not looking for a continued piece of their action. I really don't like them anymore. There was no official contractual thing. They would put these tapes out, my name would be on them. They would use my name as leverage to get other people in the business to do other things. It was a joint proposition. That's how it was - a third, a third and a third of the profits. To some people that would me an partnership."

According to ABC News the Supreme Court agreed to decide whether a federal law intended to shield children from sex-oriented cable TV networks violates the free-speech rights of channels such as Playboy Television. The justices said they will review a Clinton administration appeal aimed at reviving the law, which a federal judge in Delaware struck down. The judge said the law swept too broadly in trying to keep children from seeing adult programming on networks only partly scrambled for non-subscribers.

"This case involves channels that carry virtually 100 percent sexually explicit adult programming," the appeal said, adding that the invalidated law "imposes a very limited restriction on speech and is a very effective approach to the substantial evil it addresses."

According to news reports, Playboy's lawyers said no evidence "ever suggested that children would be harmed in any way by occasional or fleeting exposure to garbled cable signals." The law applies to sex-oriented cable networks such as Playboy Television and Spice Entertainment. Cable TV operators block or scramble the channels for customers who do not subscribe to the services..

Some people, however, complained that non-subscribers' children still could see or hear portrayals of sexual activity on those channels. The law also required cable operators that don't fully scramble or block sex-oriented networks for non-subscribers to show those channels' "indecent" programs - even to paying subscribers - only between 10p.m. and 6 a.m.

Playboy challenged the law in 1996 as a violation of the Constitution's First Amendment. The Supreme Court let the government begin enforcing the restriction in 1997. But after a trial on Playboy's lawsuit, a federal judge in Delaware struck down the law last December, saying its restrictions were too broad. The trial judge said giving customers adequate notice of a channel-blocking alternative would be a less-restrictive to barring all adult-oriented programming during the daytime.

Today's appeal asked the justices to give the government broader leeway to regulate indecency on cable television. Government lawyers also said there was no proof that the individual-blocking alternative would be a practical alternative.

According to the ABC report, Playboy's lawyers said it was "far from obvious" that adult-oriented channels were more harmful than other premium channels that show movies with profane content. "Voluntary solutions are far more effective to block unwanted programming," they added.

Houston's Post Prom Wrapup

A Staten Island high school senior along with his mother and 15 year-old sister appeared on the Howard Stern Show this morning to talk about his Saturday night prom date with porn star Houston.

Houston appeared via satellite from her home in California. Brad, the high school senior, said he already misses her and chatted long-distance with Houston last night for half-an-hour. Stern commented that he was disappointed by the conservative nature of Houston's prom gown.

Brad mentioned that he had a pre-prom party and had 200 people outside his house. According to Stern, there were reporters and others enamored by the notion of Brad's date. "She's such a littls slut. I love that," Stern said. According to Brad, his friends were slipping him condoms at the pre-prom party. "My friends were so excited for me," Brad said. "They thought she was really hot."

The first kiss occured in the limo, according to Brad. "It was for the camera, but I wish he would have kissed me more, Houston said.

"I would love to tell you so much, but I don't want to talk in front of my mother," Brad said. Brad told Stern he didn't try to feel Houston up in the limo and said he didn't masturbate prior to the date. "I wasn't looking for the sex. I'm waiting for a Houston video to come out. When she comes back to New York, maybe...we'll have sex," he said. "By being a nice guy I had a good time. I didn't want to act like a jerk. I wanted to treat her like a real person and not like a porn star." The prom date was at a hotel.

"All eyes were on us," Brad added. "Everyone was just looking. It felt so good. It's power. She stayed with me the whole time. I had teachers buying her drinks. I felt bad for her. People were tapping her on the shoulder to take pictures all night. The dj's wanted pictures with her."

"Did you offer the principal oral sex?" Stern asked. Stern kept commenting about Brad's mother's rack and asked Houston if she'd do her. "I had such a good time with his mom," Houston said. No, there was no sex with mom.

Brad's sister said she broke up with her boyfriend over the date. "Some people are very narrow-minded," she said. "I can't tolerate that." Brad's sister said Houston was a real down-to-earth, genuine person.

Houston who flew in just for the prom date went home back to her hotel at 4am, Brad-less. "It was tough," she told Stern. "Everyone was around us. If there was a way, I'd have had him come to my room."

Brad said there was one instance during the evening when a midget put his hands up Houston's dress. "She doesan't mind if a midget messes around with her butt," Stern commented wryly. Houston said she thought Brad, "Was just adorable. He's a wonderful guy. He has a great family. I would love to see him again."

She's awesome," Brad said. Brad said he had thoughts about getting into porn but Houston had to promise his mother she wouldn't influence him.

Brad's mother said Houston was invited to their home anytime. Houston said she would hook up with Brad when she got back into New York in July. Stern said he wanted to hear about the second date. "She wants a second date, you're working it man," Stern said. Houston particularly thanked Metro for the opportunity.

One caller-in suggested Brad was ruined by the experience. "Now he's got the smell of a porn star on him," Stern agreed.

Houston, who's shooting an AVN cover today, called and had this to say.

Houston: "I'm very exhausted right now....we had a great time. The kid was really sweet. Everyone that didn't want me there [in the first place] was very nice to me. It was great. I like being the center of attention. I was a little nervous in the beginning, especially pulling up to the kid's house for the pre-prom party. It was like a block party. Every single one of those neighbors was camped on the front lawn with a sub sandwich and a chair. That was kind of interesting. There were cameras everywhere. It was crazy. I'll see the kid when I'm up there in July dancing. Everyone at Metro's going, she fucked him, didn't she? But I didn't. I mean, where were we going to go, but I would have. Extra wanted to come down and interview me because I'm shooting a movie tomorrow. We can't do that yet because we promised Stern.

"The gangbang was so much fun. It was so organized and done so well. We wouldn't have changed a thing if we could. I'm glad that I did it. Metro did a really good job with it. I'm glad I went with Metro and the whole gig."

Mimi Miyagi mimi.cc writes: "Hi Gene! How are ya? Long time it's been since you probably heard from me. I wanted to just stop by and say thanks so much for the plug on your site recently from the Deja Vu people. That is so awesomely sweet.

That club can contact me exclusively through Charley Frey. (954) 423-4256 He has been the only honest agent I have used and stuck with him for the past 5 years."

Michael Howard writes: "Good Morning Gene, I'm a customer of Gary Cohen and Janet Hoey of Metro and I noticed you had a piece on the Grand Opening of the new Amazing Superstore in Providence, RI in your last Daily. I attended the VIP party that they held last Friday night.

The party was excellent. Metro was kind enough to have an open bar and plenty of Hors d'oeuvres. The gift boxes that were given on the way out was a really nice touch.

The store truly is "amazing." The decor is outstanding, the store setup is user-friendly and the staff was incredibly warm and congenial. There is no doubt this approach of retailing will work for the white collar and couples market.

Thanks to Misty Rain, Peter North, Jewel De'Nyle, Jonathan Morgan, Serenity, Midori, and Kati Gold for taking the time to chat and spend time together.

Metro Global is setting the standard for Adult Retailing in the 21st Century and we're excited that it's starting right up here in stodgy old New England."

Troy Medroe writes about the Jenna Jameson/Deja Vu controversy: "Gene, who is Trace G? The Trace G I know said no such thing [posted 6/17] and never even knew about this, nor has the authority to make those claims.

Gene sez: "I've been getting feedback that there's a Trace G imposter out there."

"Kid" Michael Adam writes: "Why and the hell is there a new fucking "KID" popping up every friggen day now???? Let's begin..."Kid Vegas"--"Kid Sparkle"(who is a friend)--"Kid Venom"...What is to come tomorrow??? "Kid & Caboodle"--"Kid Colon"--"Kid Crackpipe".....Uggg!!!!

If there are any new prospective "Kids" who are ready to join in an already packed industry call me and I'm sure I can set you up with a great name that does not have the friggen word "KID" in it....."

Roy Shaft writes: "Dear Gene and Luke, Thanks for the entertaining info you present in your websites, and thanks also for printing the interesting, albeit faggy, diatribes of random idiots like "Kid Vegas."

I've watched and listened to this skinny little coked-out punk badmouth everyone (including myself) for his own personal gain, only to have everyone in the industry laugh at him! When I read Kid Vegas' comments on your website [last week], I just about lost my lunch...he calls himself "a big porn star?" He's only been in about four films (this can be verified by checking with AVN, Jim Powers of Notorious, or Jeff Mike at Legend), and couldn't get a hardon in any others! Says Jim Powers (for whom I work on a regular basis), "I won't hire him for any of my movies because he can't get hard."

Just ask Dave Hardman, who had to fill in for Kid Vegas in "Kelly the Coed #3" in a d.p. with J.J. Michaels and Alison Kilgore. Later that day, Dave and myself d.p.'d Alison again for "Homie in the Haystack #2," while Kid Vegas was forced to watch with his soft weenie in one hand and his bullet of cocaine in the other.

Finally, Kid Vegas has been bragging about slashing one of my tires when I was shooting for Dane Productions (who also won't hire him because of the "limp sausage" problem). I thought I'd be the bigger person and let that go, but Kid Vegas is holding a grudge because I went on Springer with his ex, Priscilla Jane, and didn't bag on her like he wanted me to. No, I'm not dating her, we've simply worked together a few times. So he slashes a tire? What a bitch-boy.

So Gene, I don't really have any problem with Kid Vegas...but he obviously has some sort of vendetta against me, and has attempted to exploit that for the sake of publicity. He and I used to get along until he started this childish badmouthing; well, NOBODY'S LISTENING, KID VEGAS! Although I'm no "adult film superstar," I've been in over 40 films. The people he tried to get to "ban me from the industry" called me laughing so hard they were peeing their pants...I don't know about Kid Vegas, but I have no problem getting work.

Doesn't Scott Austin (Kid Vegas' real name) realize that the whole "Kid Vegas" concept was a joke that HE is the butt of? Everyone at Legend and Notorious is in on it but him. The only reason he's getting money for his shoots is so that he can continue to be the laughing stock of the industry.

All guys in the industry (including myself) have weenie problems from time to time, but EVERY time, like Kid Vegas?? Grow a hardon, Kid Vagrant, and lay off the cocaine; better yet, try some Viagra--you definitely need it. And don't threaten me again--you weigh about 50 lbs. soaking wet, and I'll slap you with your own dirty panties, skidmark side out, and you WILL like it.

Thanks for allowing me to present my side of things; although I haven't met either one of you gentlemen, I would be willing to sit down anytime and share more interesting info that probably shouldn't be mentioned in this forum. Please feel free to post this letter in its entirety on your respective websites. Regards.

Mike Orrechio writes: "Jenna pulled the same crap on us. We have several clubs in the NY area; and, the lee network bs'd us too. They told us how she NEVER flaked out...when they already knew that she is a total alcoholic and the minute she gets any money in her pocket, she blows off any booking.

I know one thing. I've been watching the cable tv E channel show of Howard Stern over the past few weeks; and it is not Jenna that they repeat. They must have put on repeats of Jasmin St.Claire's shows 3 or 4 times a week for the past month. Maybe they tv gurus know something we don't. We had a great week with Jasmin. The lee network said SHE didn't show up. From our experience, it is their girls that are the most unreliable. And to the people at Deja Vu, I suggest you sue the agency. They have to take responsibility if they say an act is going to show up and they know otherwise.

I've known [Charly] Frye for years and no one is better at the business than he is...I say fuck the lee network and fuck Jenna.

Maybe if more clubs smarten up stuck up cunts like her won't be getting any work and will decide to be professional Certainly with agencies that continue to book proven flakes like her this nonsense will continue.

Zachery Addans writes regarding stories posted 6/9, 6/10 and 6/11:

"In response to Steve's [Serenity's husband] answer and to all the other features who had problems with Alex Allen. I want to totally apologize for all his actions. I did not know the details of everything he did wrong until recently. We are a very nice club to visit. Ask Selena Steele. She was the only feature who worked at the club since Alex has been on the run. It is a lot better then when he was here. Steve please call. Kelly O'dell please call. You're still considered me and Sunset's friends. Sue the shit out of Alex if you can catch him. The contract we have now is much better then Alex's was.

"We did not participate in the deal with you because of all the bad luck we have been having i.,e. losing our house to a fire, little Zach being charged with sexual harassment for kissing a little girl on the cheek, the IRS saying we owe them $100,000 (we showed all the receipts and got it down to $16,000 ), my mother having a massive heart attack and heart surgery, and worst of all my father passing away. I hope you understand and we still want to book Serenity. Kelly, I heard Alex treated you rough too. Please anyone else who had a problem call 888-428-4285 and lets talk. Alex is gone and thank goodness. Alex if you read this please return all the stuff and by the way I would have lent you the money to get back to California. You didn't have to do all this stuff. We don't let our friends down like you did to us. This was done while I was at my Dad's funeral. That's cold.

P.S. Thanks to you, Gene, for printing the whole story.

Goofy Obscenity Case of the Day - Minister Pleads Accidental Videotaping

A Minister faces Peeping Tom charges for video shot in Hartsfield Atlanta Airport, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The Rev. Danny Moody, pastor of Mount Carmel Baptist Church in Douglasville, Georgia, for the past 24 years is facing felony Peeping Tom charges after allegedly aiming his video camera up women's skirts. Moody, 52, was arrested May and released under $5,000 bond the same day after an incident at Hartsfield Atlanta International.

An eyewitnedd told police he saw Moody on an escalator in Concourse B with his video camera pointed under an 18-year-old woman's dress. Moody concealed the small hand-held device with an Atlanta Braves baseball cap, police said. A police report said when the eye witneness asked Moody what he was doing, Moody replied ''that he was doing nothing and pulled the tape from the Camcorder.''

The eye witness argued with Moody before talking to the father's 18-year-old's mother. The mother then demanded the videotape. 'At first, he didn't want to, but I was somewhat mad and upset, so he did give it to me,'' the woman said. When police viewed the videotape, they found videotape of several other women on concourse trains and escalators. Clayton County District Attorney Bob Keller says a court date has not yet been set for Moody but he plans to prosecute the case. Moody's wife said Friday that his congregation still supports him.

"The church has been told about the charges against him, but the church stands behind him by an overwhelming vote,'' Brenda Moody told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. ''The camera was an accident.''
