Vivid Alt, the alternative imprint of Vivid Entertainment Group, hosted a release party for director Vena Virago's feature, Eastside Story, on Thursday at Bar 107 in downtown Los Angeles. The popular spot seemed a perfect fit with Virago's movie, as rock n' roll blared, Eastside Story played from two televisions and a healthy mix of non and industry people alike packed into the bar.
The event also featured giveaways from Vivid Alt and adult retailer Babeland. Eastside Story, which is Virago's first feature for the young production company, is available now.
In addition to Virago, among the crowd were director/Vivid Alt head Eon McKai, David Peskin of Pulse Distribution, Vivd Alt graphic designer Alaska along with performers Dino Bravo, Michelle Aston, Lystra, Lexi Bardot, Dana DeArmond, Roxy DeVille, Page Morgan and Tyra Banxxx.
In a mash-up of underground art and pornography, Virago's unconventional Vivid Alt feature takes viewers into the heart of East L.A., as an eclectic group of adult performers tell their personal tales on camera and then have sex.
Eastside Story stars Dana DeArmond, Michelle Aston, Page Morgan, Lexi Bardot, Roxy DeVille, Rebeca Lineras, Tyler Knight, Alex Gonz and Dino Bravo.
