TopBucks/PinkVisual, one of the fastest-growing companies in the adult industry, recently announced some big changes at the top, with Alison Vivas taking over as president and with Tom M. stepping in as vice president.
For 2007, and in her new role at the helm of TopBucks/PinkVisual, Vivas has set some high goals for the company. "We've been growing at a rapid rate and, because of that, we've become more goal focused," she said. "We'll be constantly clarifying the path we're going down. Our plans are focused on quality and making our products stand apart from the competition. Providing the customer with exactly what they want, in the best way possible, is our primary focus. We'll also be focusing more on innovation. We want to be the first to do new things in the industry; we want to be the leaders, not the followers. We're trying to anticipate some of these changes that are currently taking shape in the industry, and we'll embrace them and take it to the next level."
TopBucks/PinkVisual has seen an immense amount of growth in the past few years. The company now has 80 employees, the reality sites have grown from five to 30, and it now releases eight DVD titles a month. To assist with those welcomed growing pains will be Tom M., who comes to the company with a strong background in project management. "From the moment we met him, Tom stood apart from the rest: He's very focused, very motivated, and within two months, he has already vastly improved our current business. His work ethic and efficiency have allowed us to get some of our new projects off the ground faster than we had originally anticipated. We're happy to have him aboard," said Vivas.
In the coming year, Vivas and Tom M. primarily will concentrate on their primary company, TopBucks. In April, they will launch a new affiliate back-end program—which affiliates have been requesting for several years—with features such as "campaign tracking, first page, joint page, trailer page, click tracking, more detailed statistics, and, of course, more effective tools," explained Vivas. "TopBucks is our bread and butter, and we will continue to push it to new heights to provide all of the benefits of being associated with a large affiliate program, while still having that [small] program feel. We'll have 24-hour [webmaster support]. We'll guarantee that they won't have to wait longer than two hours for a response."
Also on tap for April is the launch of the company's video-on-demand site. "VOD is still in development, but it is doing really well in the beta testing," Vivas said. "We want it as close to perfect as possible, and we anticipate some really great things once it is launched."
Vivas has been with TopBucks/PinkVisual from the time she graduated from the University of Arizona, with one small stop along the way. "I took a job with a local TV station and left that position within a week, as I had an offer from TopBucks/PinkVisual and I was definitely more interested in Web-based marketing. I thought this line of work offered a bright future and, obviously, I don't regret that decision one bit."
