Video Team’s new comp series The 24 Second Shot Clock has an interactive aspect that was suggested by a fan. 24-seconds before the money shot, a clock appears in the right-hand corner of the screen and counts down the seconds until the pop.
“It’s an idea that was given to us by a customer in the mid-west who was a basketball fan,” Video Team’s owner Christian Mann told AVN.com. “He suggested that since it works for basketball players, allowing them to time their shots, why not give the stroker the chance to time his shots.”
“The trick was to make the clock visible enough without distracting viewers from the excellent compendium of some of our favorite scenes,” Mann said.
Each volume of the series has 15 scenes, approximately fifteen minutes long each. “The goal is to become aroused enough within that time to be able to release as close to the money shot on the video as possible,” Mann said.
“These videos might be accepted by the medical community as a therapeutic aid, especially as an ejaculatory aid,” Mann said. “It could be considered a worthwhile method of teaching people to control their ejaculation, possibly eradicating pre-ejaculation. Who knows?”
There will be two volumes of The 24 Second Shot Clock released each month, one ethnic and one general. The first volume of the general line was released this week. The first volume of the ethnic line will be released on March 17.
The fan who sent the suggestion in was rewarded with a nice collection of Video Team merchandise.
