Adult toy review Web site VibeReview.com has morphed again.
What started out as a source for consumers to write and read sex toy reviews in 2001 and in early 2003 started selling a small group of well-reviewed toys has now launched an affiliate program.
“I kept getting these requests to sell [toys], but I really wanted to increase the exposure of the site and now there’s potential for everybody to do well,” VibeReview.com founder Celeste Smith told AVNOnline.com.
The site is offering affiliates 20 percent of purchases made by customers they send via a link on their site. VibeReview only stocks a small number of well-reviewed toys, in keeping with Smith’s original intent – to make sure consumers know they are getting a quality product before they hand over their money.
“I didn’t want it to be just another store. It’s definitely more female friendly, but honestly most of our sales are actually from men,” she said.
“I want to keep people happy. We have a lot of return customers, so they’re happy with what they get.”
