Veteran Director Tommy Gunn Hospitalized

Veteran director and producer Tommy Gunn, (not the performer) was in listed in serious condition today after he was admitted into a hospital for emergency surgery for a ruptured appendix last week.

Gunn, who owns Erotic City Entertainment, was rushed to the hospital last Tuesday when he complained of abdominal pain.

Gunn’s fiancee and former performer Lennox, said Gunn had been suffering from neuropathy or nerve damage, as a result of untreated diabetes which left him in constant pain.

“He didn’t know his appendix burst and that all these toxins were ravaging his body until it was almost too late,” Lennox said.

Despite severe infection spreading throughout his body, doctors were able to operate on him and stabilize him.

“I’m in constant pain and I can barely move, but at least I can talk and I’m still here,” Gunn said by telephone from his hospital room.

“I hope I can go home this week, but the doctors say I have to get a lot better.”

Gunn said doctors told him two years ago that he had been suffering from diabetes for up to 10 years without knowing it.

“All I knew was that I was always thirsty, so I didn’t think about it, then when I started getting these terrible pains, they said it was neuropathy from diabetes. I didn’t know I was diabetic.”

Gunn had most recently had a distribution deal with Metro Interactive for his Erotic City titles such as 2004’s Go Fuck Yourself, 2005’s Heidi Spice and a slew of other titles.

Gunn was seeking a new distributor for his titles when he was stricken. For more information about Erotic City titles, e-mail [email protected].
