Global online payment solution provider Verotel has announced support for multi-currency processing, providing merchants the ability to charge consumers in 10 local currencies.
The change removes a degree of confusion related to exchange rates and conversion, with the company now supporting the U.S. Dollar, the Canadian Dollar, the Euro, the British Pound, the Danish Kroner, the Norwegian Kroner, the Swedish Kronor, the Swiss Franc, the Korean Won, and the Chinese Yuanrenminbi.
“So far, response has been extremely positive,” said Joel Brinker, senior account manager at Verotel. “Customers have been waiting for this implementation to help drive their international online sales.”
Verotel’s online interface allows merchants to configure payment options by currency or select a default currency. The payment page is also translated into the customer’s local language.
