The Venus Show, one of the world’s biggest erotica trade fairs, will return to Berlin from Oct. 20 to Oct. 23 with the theme "Sex in the City."
This is the ninth time representatives from the erotica industry will be congregating in the German capital. The opening day, Oct. 20 is "specialists’ day," and the trade fair will be closed to consumers. This day will be for producers, providers and specialist retailers to enjoy and conduct their business matters in a quiet atmosphere.
Friday the 21st through Sunday will be open to the public, which will be treated to regular performances on a large stage in the Pallais of the Messe Berlin. Autograph-signing and live porn shoots for fans will also be happening.
Another highlight this year will be the voting of Miss Venus 2005. In association with partners Orion, das neue Wochenend, Blitz Illu, Coupé and Radio Energy Berlin, organizers will be staging the event to elect Miss Venus 2005. Venus this year will no longer be hosting an awards show as it has passed the organization on to the appropriate department at Mediatainment Publishing GmbH. The E-Line-Award will be presented for the first time at the ninth Venus. The award will be presented in the Hotel Estrel on Oct. 20.
