CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Jordan Septo of Venom Digital is planning a porno spoof of TV's "I Dream of Jeannie" to premiere at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in January.
Continuing the recent rash of X-rated sitcom parodies, the upcoming production follows Venom's celebrity porn takeoffs Paris & Nicole Go To Jail and Getting It Up With The Kardassians. Septo says the "Jeannie" project was inspired by his own fond childhood memories of the Barbara Eden boob-tube classic.
"I would almost look forward to being sick so I could stay home and watch my favorite television shows," Septo told AVN. "They were classics, and when I was growing up they were only found on re-runs during the weekday. And while many of them were great, but the best was 'I Dream of Jeannie'."
Septo is looking for an actress to fill Jeannie's magical bra. Interested performers can email [email protected].
Casting begins this week and production is slated for November. The movie will be released on DVD and Blu-ray disc through Juicy Entertainment.
"I Dream of Jeannie" has already provided the inspiration more than one stroke flick, including the 1999 spoof I Cream of Jeannie and the 2002 Jenna Jameson feature I Dream of Jenna.
Nevertheless, Septo insisted: "If we get 1 percent of the people jerking off to our version as to the original, we're a success!"
