Peter Reynolds, the vice president of sales and marketing for VCA, suffered a knee injury while leaving the 30th anniversary party of Hustler Magazine, held this weekend at the Park Plaza Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. Reynolds required surgery on his knee on Sunday, but is expected to recover completely in a matter of months.
Reynolds expects to be released from the hospital as early as Wednesday or Thursday. Then
he’ll work from home until he has recovered. He expects to have to wear a cast and a knee brace for up to six weeks.
“Life. Life is an amazing adventure. Sometimes things happen and you have to deal with it,” Reynolds said. “ I’ll get through this. I’m going to work at home, but I’m not going anywhere.”
Reynolds preferred not to speak about accident, but confirmed the details; he fell into a three-foot-deep hole that was covered by a rug. It was during the fall that Reynolds injured his knee.
