VCA Pictures director Eon McKai has wrapped production on Neu Wave Hookers today after four days of filming at warehouses throughout downtown Los Angeles.
McKai's new $100,000 feature — a re-imagining of VCA's 1985 porn classic, New Wave Hookers, by Gregory Dark — updates the original story with edgy real-life hooker tales of tricking on L.A.'s underground music scene.
The new cast includes Joanna Angel, Riley, Nyomi Zen, Sierra Sin, Justine Joli, Felix Vicious, Tiger and Dana DeArmond impersonating original New Wave bombshell Traci Lords.
Suicide Girl Cricket and VCA all-star Veronica Hart appear in non-sex, supporting roles.
Neu Wave Hookers' final day included hot sex scenes with Neu Wave protagonist Riley and up-and-coming stud James Deen, plus a three-way with Riley, Angel and Kurt Lockwood.
The crew will also film a massive music video production number featuring a crowd of extras dancing to the movie's new Electroclash-style theme song.
Neu Wave Hookers will be released in time for the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas in January. The film is the second feature in the past year for McKai, whose debut Art School Sluts and Kill Gill Girl series have been well received by both fans and critics.
