CINCINNATI, Ohio—Vanilla Gaming & Comic Company has launched new adult comic series Blake to the Future, starring Blake Blossom. The series is written by Neil Herrin and Blossom and illustrated by Herrin, with cover art by special guest artists. The series kicks off on Kickstarter with two issues.
“The initial launch gives fans the perfect entry point into Blake’s wild, time-bending adventures,” a company rep said. Both physical and digital copies will be available, with the digital editions running “extra spicy,” with explicit nudity and sexual situations the physical copies cannot include.
“Blake to the Future #0: Origins gets everything started after Blake leaves a carnival with her friends and takes a shortcut through the woods,” a provided synopsis recaps. “She stumbles upon a freaky fortune teller who delivers some grave news about her pending doom. Can Blake survive trips to the past to prevent her future from unraveling?”
In Blake to the Future #1: This Bites, the synopsis continues: “Now aware she must track down sacred relics across time, Blake finds herself up against some of the most fierce and notable monsters of all time. Don’t miss this hilarious and sexy trip to Dracula’s castle in Transylvania, where Blake’s quick wit and irresistible charm face the ultimate test against classic creatures of the night.”
Backers on the upcoming Kickstarter can look forward to affordable digital and physical copies, variant covers by featured artists, deluxe editions, early bird specials and a reward option that lets supporters get themselves drawn into future issues of Blake to the Future.
Herrin shared his excitement about bringing the series to life, saying, “I loved working with Blake on our Mystery Kink game. Blake was funny, witty, and 100 percent into the whole idea of creating herself in a game world. Now we’re looking to have Blake Blossom take on the comic world in a really funny and sexy comic series. We plan to have Blake travel to some amazing historical locations and meet a great cast of well-known characters in her adventures.”
