The year-old, Miami-based adult production house UrgeXotica has signed a deal with online retailer Gamelink to distribute its titles and other adult content on its E-commerce site.
“GameLink was the obvious choice. GameLink provides us with an instant and credible choice for our most important asset, our customers,” said Rick Cuban, UrgeXotica’s chief executive, producer and director.
Baron, UrgeXotica’s co-owner, said Gamelink’s positioning in the marketplace was key to the deal.
The pact gives the company’s titles access to Gamelink’s online shop and distribution network and also allows UrgeXotica to provide its content to Gamelink’s video-on-demand service.
“Picking up UrgeXotica’s line was a no-brainer. Their content is unique and filled with some of the hottest girls in the industry. They are dedicated to delivering their content in many forms and are a company that stays on the cutting edge,” said Michael Voss, Gamelink’s director of business development.
“We are very excited to work so closely with their team of professionals and anticipate UrgeXotica becoming one of the major players in adult.” UrgeXotica was established about a year ago, featuring content shot in Florida as well as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia and other parts of South America.
UrgeXotica said it will now begin periodic advertising campaigns through its newly-designed online shop, featuring exclusive new releases and discounts for UrgeXotica Web site members. The company says the merger has the potential for mainstream and adult cross marketing of UrgeXotica DVDs through UrgeXotica-owned Internet sites and its affiliate program, Urge-Cash, set to launch in October, along with the launch of several other niche Web sites later this year.
The company also recently made a deal with the Miami Velvet swingers club to host UrgeXotica events and parties at the club.
Meanwhile, the studio plans to release I Play Solo Vol. 3, with Charity and Taylor Nixxx, on Aug. 14, followed by Girls of Latin America: Buenos Aires, in September.
