LOS ANGELES—Organizers of the 2023 Urban X Awards announce that body of work pre-nominations and movie submissions are now open for the awards ceremony, taking place August 20 at the Globe Theater in downtown Los Angeles.
The deadline to submit pre-noms in body of work categories is May 24, and the submission form is located at urbanxvoting.com/pre-noms.
For movie categories, the submissions deadline is June 5, and the submission form is located at urbanxawards.com/movie-submissions.
Sponsorship opportunities are still available, and information on various sponsor tiers can be found at urbanxfest.com/sponsorship.
The 2023 Urban X Awards weekend will kick off with the Urban X Fest on Friday, August 18, hosted by King Nasir and KiKi Klout. The event will take place in Sylmar, California from 3 p.m. to 11 p.m.
This will be followed by a Lingerie Party on Saturday, August 19.
The awards show itself will cap things off on Sunday, August 20. The show—making its post-COVID return to a full awards program, with new categories added—will be hosted by Ana Foxxx, September Reign, Demi Sutra, Mazee the Goat, Ebony Mystique, BADKITTYYY, Willow Ryder and Natassia Dreams.
