'I like extreme acts'
LOS ANGELES—Fresh out of high school, 18-year-old Hazel Heart posted a profile on SexyJobs.com, was discovered by a talent agent, shot her first scenes for Exploited College Girls (ExCoGi), launched an OnlyFans, bought a home by 20, and temporarily retired when the COVID-19 pandemic hit.
“I joined the industry back in 2020 when a recruiter reached out and asked if I was willing to shoot mainstream scenes,” the Nevada-born Latina recalls. “I said, ‘I would love to,’ and that’s how I got in.”
For Heart, who already had a notable number of sexual partners outside of porn, sex work made sense. She was comfortable with her sexuality and eager to explore it further.
“I always liked sex,” she says. “Before mainstream, I was hooking up with people. I also had a sugar daddy, who appreciated me, cared about me, and loved my body. It gave me confidence. I thought, ‘You know what? A lot of people probably do think I’m cute. Maybe I should show it off, show off my skills.”

“They fly you out, they do your hair and makeup, you meet the male talent, and everyone is so nice,” she says. “When I think of a supermodel or an actor… I assume that’s the treatment they get. And I’m going to get paid to have sex? I loved it.”

“Then COVID happened and killed work everywhere,” she recalls.
Her only saving grace in the business was her OnlyFans, which got a major boost as the platform’s popularity skyrocketed during the pandemic, allowing Heart to buy a six-bedroom, two-bath house in West Virginia.
“I tried to stay in the business for a little while, but by 2021, I had burned through my savings and there wasn’t much studio work,” she laments. “So I stepped away and worked as a paralegal for a couple of years.”
The job suited her just fine.
“I like office work,” she says. “I’m a very organized person and I like helping people in general, so I liked the job… but I enjoyed porn more.”
Heart, who is currently represented by Foxxx Modeling, returned to the industry in 2024. “It has been a dream ever since,” says the now 24-year-old. “I love dick.”
It’s a good thing, too, because Heart has been extremely busy, working for top studios such as Evil Angel, Jules Jordan Video, Hookup Hotshot, Kink, and Vixen Media Group. “I have shot so many good things this year. I have been putting in the work to earn an AVN nomination,” she declares. “I just did my first blowbang.”
