TrustyFiles Allows Downloads From Multiple P2P Networks

RazorPop has announced the newest version of its file sharing software, TrustyFiles 2.3, which is designed to allow users to download files from almost all P2P networks and the Web simultaneously.

The program will search TrustyFiles, Kazaa, Grokster, Morpheus, Limewire, Bearshare, Shareaza, and other Fast Track, Gnutella, Gnutella2 and Bit Torrent network users, along with the Web for a desired file. The new TrustyFiles will also download the same file at the same time from multiple sources, speeding up download times, which is the biggest improvement from the previous version of the software.

“We could always download from multiple networks, but it was one file per network. So the innovation is being able to download multiple files from multiple networks,” RazorPop CEO Marc Freedman told AVNOnline.com.

“The advantage of being able to access another network is being able to access that many more sources of files. We believe the you’ll be able to download files in less time because now you’re downloading them from multiple networks.”

TrustyFiles, which has been under development for two years, initiates simultaneous multi-network file downloads in a variety of ways. It happens automatically when the software connects to another TrustyFiles client during a search or download, when a qualified Magnet link is clicked at a Web site, or when a TrustyFiles user initiates the Send a File feature that emails a TrustyLink to a friend.

The TrustyFiles software is free and downloadable for the Windows environment at www.trustyfiles.com. Freedman said the program contains no spyware and no additional bundled software.

TrustyFiles also has personal and private file sharing modes, to share files with friends and invited guests, respectively.

The TrustyFiles code is 100 percent native. It supports TrustyLinks, Gnutella Magnet links, Kazaa sig2dat links, and torrent files.
