LOS ANGELES—Fox-owned tabloid TMZ produced a documentary about the positives and negatives of being a content creator on OnlyFans.com. TMZ Presents: The War Over OnlyFans premiered Tuesday night on Fox to a national audience. It is now streaming on Hulu.
The documentary features interviews of prominent pop culture figures, including rapper and former OnlyFans model Blac Chyna, model-turned-Republican activist Amber Rose, former Disney Channel star Dan Benson, regretful creator Jemma Lucy, and the controversial Sexy Happy Couple content team.
Sexy Happy Couple comprises Drs. Joe Gow and Carmen Wilson, both subjects of public controversy after being outed as adult content creators and vegan cooking influencers. Up until late December 2023, Gow was the chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
AVN has covered Joe Gow and Carmen Wilson extensively, including their public shaming and eventual expulsion from serving the Universites of Wisconsin system.
"Carmen and I are thrilled to be included in TMZ's documentary about OnlyFans," Gow told AVN in an email. "Although we're not on OnlyFans to make a living, we think we provide a unique perspective on how the platform can be used for self-expression in the digital age."
"And we're delighted we're promoting fresh conversations about the key role sexuality plays in modern relationships," he added. "If we can show that older folks can still have fun, too, then all the better!"
Gow also announced the release of the couple's new self-published memoir on the controversy,
