Threshold Presents the 15th Annual Bizarre Bazaar

Later this month artisans and vendors across the country will bring their whips, chains, latex, electrical toys, and more to the 15th annual Bizarre Bazaar, a BDSM and fetish market thrown by the non-profit BDSM educational and support organization Threshold.

“It’s hard to find good quality stuff generally. It’s very difficult to make a good whip. It’s hard to make a good flogger. You really have to know what you are doing,” said a spokesperson for Threshold, explaining the need for the Bizarre Bazaar.

“And because the demand for these products is fairly specialized, you’re not going to find them at your local Wal-Mart or at your local bookstore,” he added.

But the Bazaar isn’t just about buying hard to find goods such as homemade dungeon furniture. True to their mission of education, Threshold has arranged presentations on bondage, flogging, electricity, and more that will occur throughout the event.

There will also be the second annual "Race of the Bondage Babes"

Fetish models Rubee Tuesday, Lorelei, Dorothy Laine, and Lena Ramone will be signing at the event. Gwen Media has a booth lined up to promote their videos and talent. Other vendors already on board include The Stockroom and Versatile Fashions.

While most of the exhibition tables have already been booked, there are still some left. Exhibition tables only cost $100.

A section of the bazaar has been set aside for fetish and bondage models, who are being offered a discount exhibition rate so that they can sign for their fans.

Tickets are $10 at the door. You must be at least 18 to attend. The Bizarre Bazaar will take place on November 23 at the Nob Hill banquet hall at 8229 Van Nuys Blvd, in Panorama City, California. Parking is free.
