TheContentStore.com Adds Encoding Services

TheContentStore.com will now offer encoding services for its adult DVD content, owner Jonathon Silverstein announced.

In addition, the company will also generate high-quality still images from video, trailers in 10-, 20-, and 30-second or one-minute variations, and provide watermarking.

“Our encoding services are designed to make life as easy as possible for busy companies that don't have the time, staff, facility, or technical knowledge to handle [it] in-house. Furthermore, considering that project deadlines are often cut close, TheContentStore.com ensures the fastest turnaround time in the industry while preserving the maximum quality of their customer’s video content. Our goal is to save clients time and money by providing the necessary tools to deliver high-quality streaming or downloadable media from their websites now and into the future,” Silverstein says

While Silverstein designed his latest content venture to provide webmasters adult DVD content, he stressed that the company also offers services for video companies.

“If not already, adult-video producers should be prepared to take the Web component of their business[es] very seriously and have their libraries encoded in the most popular formats for distribution and integration into their own websites and properties. We can offer support in both areas and also lend assistance in hosting, programming, database architecture, design, and all areas of digital asset management,” he says.

TheContentStore.com’s staff can work with any original media source, including DVD, VHS, VHS C, S-VHS, S-VHS C, Hi-8, 3/4", DV, miniDV, Betacam/SP/SX, and DigiBeta. Encoded content can be delivered to customers via DVD, Zip disk, USB/fire-wire drives, and FTP.

The store also has expanded its format roster, which includes MPEG1/2/4, Microsoft Windows Media, Real, Apple’s QuickTime, and Flash video. TheContentStore.com offers a content storage feature, which allows clients to store copies of their original media on Content Store servers and updates to accommodate new, more efficient delivery methods.
