Vampires have always been bloody sexy, and Saturday night at a giant studio in ritzy Burbank, that ol’ undead spirit swirled to life like a scene right out of Blade.
The revelry was held in honor of Nic Andrews’ newly-released vamp vid Dark Angels 2: Bloodline from New Sensations, and the porn community poured out in droves, all fiending for an epic party like this one, since long had they gone without such an event. (And though none of them are actual bloodsuckers that we know of, they do suck plenty of other things, and also tend to despise daylight.)
As part of the vampiric mystique, the location of the party was kept secret until the last minute, and had to be found by walking down a long side-street alley. Of course, once you turned the corner at the end of said alley, the spectacle bombarded you, with spotlights, limos and a long red carpet below a humongous Dark Angels 2 marquee being projected onto the side of the building.
Said Jeff Mullen, whose All Media Play helped organize the event, “I was happy that we were able to pull off such a spectacular multi-company event, and the comments that I have received have even blown me away. I guess everybody had a great time.”

And how, indeed, could they not have? Practically every porn personality imaginable showed up, from Jenna Haze to Devon to Ron Jeremy. Cytherea drew storms of camera flashes in a frilly white dress, while Randi Wright attracted plenty of her own attention going the opposite route in a skater-girlish getup.
New talent Kelsey Michaels, Michelle Maylene and Julia Bond were all big hits, especially the latter for her topless go-going on a platform in the center of the studio. Angels star Sunny Lane made rounds beaming about what a great time she was having, while agent Mark Spiegler escorted around a couple of his top girls, Katja Kassin and Taryn Thomas.
Industry movers and shakers like Mike Ramone, Holly Randall and Scott Fayner caroused with the scores of other girls present, including Tawny Roberts, Tiffany Taylor, Kylie Ireland, Kat, Mika Tan, Austyn Moore, Brooke Hunter, Harmony, Phyllisha Anne, Nicki Hunter, Kaylynn, Holly Wellin, Nadia Hilton and Venus, while porn couples Kimberly Kane and JacktheZipper, Tory Lane and Rick Shameless, Rita Faltoyano and Tommy Gunn and Samantha Ryan and Kurt Lockwood circulated on each others' arms.
Directors James Avalon, Jules Jordan, Van Styles, Roy Karch, Craven Moorhead and of course the man of the hour, Andrews, were all on hand to observe the movie being shown on a huge screen in one corner, and even the alt-porn crowd hit the scene, represented by such hipsters as Joanna Angel, Eon McKai and Rob Rotten.
Ron Jeremy echoed the feelings of many by saying, “This was the greatest adult industry party I have been to in 26 years. These guys really know how to put on an amazing event. I couldn’t believe this was a porn event.”
Added Erin Burns of co-sponsor AEBN (who awarded a couple of Apple Ipods as prizes to some lucky partygoers), “Wow, what a great night. I had no idea it would be such a tremendous party.”
Other party sponsors were: Hustler Video, VCA Pictures, SugarDVD, LA Direct Models, Sex Z Pictures, Xflix, Metro Interactive, VVVXXX, Digital Sin, X-Play, Jill Kelly Productions, Bad Influence, Maximum Grind, Screaming O, Copper Digital and the Free Speech Coalition.
Summed up Hustler creative director Drew Rosenfeld, “Did you expect anything less from Jeff Mullen? I have been watching his projects for six years now, and nobody can top what he and his team at All Media Play can do, and that’s a fact.”
